KRVM BWTB Play List Sunday 5-18-08

Themes...a bunch of little ones. I received a note from Tom Principato and he thanked me for playing his music...but told me I misspelled his name (I did)...we joked on that for a couple e-mails...he then signed his last note TTom...SO...I could not let it go. Played Barbara Blue's Trouble With A Capital T before playing another Principato tune. Big Joe Turner's birthday so a five song set to start the show. Kinda semi sorta put a hill country-modern hill country Mississippi set together with Paul Thorn, Nathan Jame and Ben Hernandez, JJ Grey, RL Burnside and then added an Eden Brent (this is a great CD!) tune...but that is not a real part of that set. Also did a Harmonica Girls set...with Paula and the Pontiacs providing the Harmonica Girls tune and followed by Kellie Rucker, Robin Rogers, Roxy Perry and Annie Raines. Played 56 tunes.
We now have links to all seven BWTB DJs play lists. The links are on both the BWTB web site and the BWTB MySpace page and from mine you can access all the rest.
