KRVM's Breakfast With The Blues Play List 4-21-10 and 4-25-10

Themes...well...not a whole lot of big themes...a few little ones...also featured the new Mark Hummel CD, Retro-active, a Muddy Waters-Otis Spann set, a BB King set and a James Harman-Nathan James set...finished with two from Tommy Castro. Played 54 tunes. I am also including the Wednesday play list when I sat in for Coffee Jack's Harmonica Hump Day show.

Themes...had Kim in studio to train...she did the show from 8 until 9...did a Texas sized hour (80 minutes) of music featuring Austin, Texas...I was there for a vacation and was very priveledged to see many fine musicians...Marcia Ball, Pinetop Perkins, Malford Milligan, Mike Milligan & the Altat Boyz, Mighty Mike Schermer, Greg Izor and many others...a big thanks to Greg Izor who shared some unmastered takes from his soon to be released album...also added to that mix with a couple performers that I wish I had seen...Carolyn Wonderland and Johnny Moeller...and Stevie Ray Vaughan, who I did see but only in statue form.
