Breakfast With The Blues Play List Thursday February 23, 2017

Sitting in for AJ Thursday edition of KRVM’s Breakfast With The Blues.  Featured three tunes from the new Samantha Fish album…Chills & Fever.  I also did a little trip around the USA with songs that had US states and cities in the title…finished up with Eric Bibb’s A-Z Blues…which is a “travelougue in itself.  Also heard tines from Pacific Northwest artists and a lot of good stuff!!

Sitting in for Natty Bumpo for the Monday edition of KRVM’s Breakfast With The Blues.  Winter Fundraiser time.  We heard a good chunk of tunes for Pacific Northwest artists…Joanne Broh, Adam Scramstad, Ty Curtis. Lloyd Jones, Curtis Salgado, Henry Cooper, Robert Cray, Barb Healy and Deb Cleveland.  We also heard tunes from Buddy Guy, BB King, Jimmie Vaughan, Lou Ann Barton, Gary Clark Jr., Dinah Washington, Otis Rush, Bettye Lavette, Billie Holiday, Ruth Brown, EC Scott and Nina Simone.  We also heard a tune from the 2017 IBC winner Dawn Tyler Watson!  Blues…it’s what’s for breakfast.
