KRVM's Breakfast With The Blues Play List Sunday 1-03-10

Themes...I was immersed in big and little themes...funny how that happens some times...one I enjoyed very much was the Alan Mirikitani set...that had add ons earlier in the show...Alan is a mixer, engineer, producer, song writer, sax player, guitarist and vocalist...and there may be more...but essentially he is a guy you know only because you read liner notes...he played guitar on the two Karen Lovely tunes and then his own set of written, guitar playing and one vocal...onward...a Fab Thunderbirds set, an Adam Scramstad Journey To Memphis set, a Big Mama Thornton set, A BB King, Arthur Adams set, an Etta James song set featuring Etta, Missy ANdersen and Beyonce (yes...I said Beyonce), a Karen Lovely Journey To Memphis set, a new CD from Mauirizio Pugno and finished with two from Freddie King! WHEW!!!!!! Played 55 tunes.
