Themes...a bunch of little ones. My favorite was a follow to Tom Principatto's They Called For Stormy Monday But Mustang Sally Is Just As Bad...well...the following tunes...Mustang Sally and Stormy Monday! A five tune BB King set to start the show. A two song set for BMA Entertainer of the Year Tommy Castro. Lots of new stuff...two tracks from a new live Charlie Musselwhite CD...two tracks from the new CD from Kelley Hunt...and two tracks from an old group...but new to me, Paula and the Pontiacs...a track from Carolyn Wonderland...all good stuff!! I bought two Paula CDs...and I love then already! Played 57 tunes.
We now have links to five different BWTB DJs posting their play lists. The play lists are for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The links are on both the BWTB web site and the BWTB MySpace page.
Here is the play list for Breakfast With The Blues show for Sunday (7AM until 11AM Pacific time) May 11, 2008. The BWTB show is broadcast by KRVM (Eugene, Oregon USA) and features 20 hours of blues programming a week. Our triple-A (8AM 5 PM) format now features at least one blues song an hour. I am also a member of the Rainy Day Blues Society. Links below. Stop by and check it out.
Our internet stream remains off. The WORD is that we can expect it back shortly!! This is GOOD News!
