KRVM's Breakfast With The Blues Play List Sunday 2-28-10

KRVM's Breakfast With The Blues is on Facebook with a fan page...if you are on FB...look us up and become a fan!! Ahhh...the power of Facebook!! Try it you will like it!!

Program Note-This Sunday March 7th I will be doing a Women In Blues special in honor of International Woman's Day. In studio I will have Karen Lovely scheduled and we will be premiering some tunes from her forthcoming CD. If you have not heard Karen before this may be a good time to check her out. Coming off her 2nd place finish in the International Band Challenge sponsored by the Blues Foundation Karen is now playing to full house audiences throughout Oregon.

Themes...one of the "funnest" themes I have done in a while...as a liner notes reader I have come across many musicians over and over again on with different bands and on different CDs...so I chose Jim Pugh...a fine, fine keyboard guy and ran a seven song set where Jim played keys on the tunes but was never the front man on the CD. Played 55 tunes.

WE ARE STREAMING AGAIN!!

Hit that Listen On Line button and follow the directions! Be sure to select the right stream...not all of them will work on your computer.

Our triple-A (8 AM 5 PM) format now features about one blues song an hour. I am also a member of the Rainy Day Blues Society. Links below. Stop by and check it out.
